General FAQ’s:

1. What are the benefits of soaking dry fruits in water overnight?

Every seed has something called the phytic acid. Phytic acid basically protects the nutrition in a seed. Hence our body may absorb only less nutrition from the nut or seeds we consume. The best way to remove phytic acid is to soak the nuts and seeds in water for 6-12hrs. This way the seed gets activated (sprouted).

2. Can spices be stored for a long time?

It varies from spice to spice. However, in general, the best way to protect spices is to keep it in an air tight container and avoid exposure to light.

3. Can nuts be stored for a long time?

Exposure to light and oxygen are the biggest reasons for the infestation and fermentation in nuts and dry fruits. The best way to store nuts is to keep it in an air tight container and store it in a dark place. For all products whose shelf life may be increased by Refrigeration, we inform the customers by adding a “Refrigeration required” sticker.

4. Why is our wild raw honey frothy?

Meet Frothy Wild Raw Honey

Honey fermentation is a natural process in raw honey due to the high amount of pollen and moisture. This allows the natural yeasts and enzymes (mostly put there by our hard- working bees) to start the fermentation process. This is the very reason why most of the honey today is heated. Remove the pollens (pollens are many-a-times expensive than honey itself) to stop fermentation.

Raw Honey Fermentation leads to rich and sharp taste & the smell makes honey soft and frothy in appearance with a kick of the tastebuds. This is one reason why many love Raw Honey. Add it to your lukewarm water or dressing fruits, muesli and yoghurt or make it more creative. Raw Honey can be used just like any other honey.

5. HOW TO STORE WILD RAW HONEY?

Wild raw honey has flower pollens in it and so it keeps fermenting. The best way to store raw honey is to leave the bottle in a dark place (like inside the cupboard) and it is best to open the lid of the bottle at least once in a month (if not the bottle might burst).
